There are the superstars of French wine regions, and then there are the unsung heroes that have been historically over shadowed by the more boisterous beauties. It’s exciting to see some of these regions now receiving their due credit, while also continuing to appreciate the clear excellence of those wines we know best. This class we taste wines from Bordeaux and two regions of southwest France: Cahors and Madiran.
Wines tasted during class:
2019 Petit Haut LaFitte Pessac-Leognan Blanc
2019 Combel La Serre Le Pur Fruit u Casse
2010 Chateau Bouscasse Cotes de Gascogne Menhirs Brumont
