Meet the Winemaker

Get to know the real people behind the wine.

The Meet the Winemaker series is all about creating a direct connection between you and the wines you drink.

There is so much that goes into every glass of wine we drink.  This industry is powered by the passion of individuals with a dream and a vision for making something extraordinary.  This monthly seminar series is an opportunity for wine lovers everywhere to learn more about the people and passions that make wine possible.

This month's winemaker: Jordan Fiorentini

Passionate, dedicated, and not afraid to push the envelope Winemaker, Jordan Fiorentini, brings an enthusiastic and experienced spirit to Epoch Estate Wines. Her palate is the kind wine lovers dream of and one that speaks to Jordan through shapes; having an awesome artistic side, Jordan now draws her Tasting Notes in addition to writing about each wine. Jordan oversees all the wine and vine decisions along with the day-to-day needs of the winery. With her dedicated staff of four, she works hard to ensure every bottle of Epoch wine is always at its best.

Besides being crazy talented, Jordan also happens to be wicked smart with an engineering undergraduate degree from Dartmouth College and a masters degree in viticulture from UC Davis. Jordan earned her spurs working at her family’s winery in Georgia (yes, they really do make wine in Georgia), Araujo Estate in Napa Valley, Antinori Winery in Italy (where she met her husband), and most recently as head winemaker at Chalk Hill in Sonoma.

In this awesome seminar we with Jordan we will pick her brain about her approach to winemaking, her incredible vinpressions and what excites her most about being a part of Epoch Estates.

During the session we will taste 3 of Jordan’s wines:
2020 Epoch Estate White
2017 Veracity
2017 Epoch Estate Blend

These wines are available as a 3-pack at Hi-Time!
Purchase wines from Hi Time here!

These wines are NOT included in the class purchase price, but you will be able to purchase them from Hi-Time Wine Cellars in Costa Mesa!   You are, of course, welcome to join the seminar without the wine, but joining the tasting will give you the opportunity to better understand the wines and the winemaker.

This seminar is FREE for Vinolust Wine Lover & Explorer members!
