Hip hip, Syrah! One of my favorite red wines for it’s complexity, peppery profile and versatility. It is a grape of many faces – and names – and stylistically changes based on where it is made. A classic variety, this month we are exploring the ins and outs of what makes this such a loved grape the world over.
For tasting along, you are welcome to open any wine you wish, but for these classes I suggest trying an Old World vs. New World version of each varietal side by side.
